Hicham Karmoussi accuses the president of the PSG: undeclared work and continuous psychological violence. The reply: a criminal trying to blackmail Al-Khelaifi

New troubles for Nasser

Al-Khelaifi, president of the PSG
. Hicham Karmoussi, his a former butler, he presented himself to the French authorities to denounce the poor working conditions which he was forced to accept during the period he spent next to the Qatari entrepreneur. The news was reported by AFP. The 48-year-old revealed that he had been hired on an irregular basis and had worked without a residence permit: Hicham Karmoussi worked for years without a contract or residence permit for Mr Al-Khelaifi and at an unsustainable pace, his lawyer said. Me Antoine Ory. Not only.

The butler’s complaint went further, providing numerous other details, such as the (alleged) continuous psychological violence to which he was subjected every day and moral harassment. The beginning of the working relationship dates back to 2011, in the year of Al Khelaifi’s appointment as president of the PSG. But according to the 48-year-old’s story, working conditions have become unsustainable since 2015: all the employees of the owner of the French club (there would be four in all) were without a contract and were forced to face non-human shifts. And the defense of the number one of the French club? Sources close to him stated that Hicham Karmoussi is just a criminal who has been looking for a way to blackmail the president for some time.

The allegations, however, do not end there. In 2017, during the search of the headquarters of BeIN Sports in Boulogne-Billancourt as part of the investigation to obtain broadcasting rights for the 2026 and 2030 World Cups, the president allegedly asked him to clean up the house to hide the evidence. Karmoussi would have thus taken and hidden a USB stick containing many contracts stipulated with Jerome Valcke, the former general secretary of Fifa and burned the rest of the documents, according to his story. It must be said that the investigation into the working conditions of Al-Khelaifi employees is not an absolute novelty: the authorities had already received a complaint last January from another former employee.
