We at Milan don’t give up on studying other hypotheses: we have in mind a couple of realistic ones that are out of the ordinary for Milan. We are also working on these, because we cannot limit ourselves to having a single hypothesis on such an important issue, the decision will arrive by this summer. Of course, building a stadium is a titanic experience: in any situation there are fierce oppositions that force us to take a step back».

The position of Inter

San Siro, on the other hand, remains the first option for Inter, as explained by the CEO Alexander Antonello. «We, like Inter, believe that San Siro is the best location for the two teams from Milan to play, but we respect the choices – he explained -. We are waiting for an answer from the administration, but in case we too have the resources and solutions to build a new stadium on our own». Inter are getting ready in the return derby of the Champions League to beat the collection record set yesterday by their Milan cousins. And on this point Scaroni added: «On Wednesday we collected over 10 million. However, if we had had a modern system, we would have earned even more by focusing on hospitality. We need new quality structures ».
