At the end of the first practice session, Vinales was fastest ahead of Aleix Espargaro. Martin’s is the best of the Ducatis

Two Aprilias lead the standings of the times after the first free practice session of the Argentine GP, second round of the MotoGp world championship, scheduled for next Sunday on the Termas de Rio Hondo track.

The fastest was the Spanish Maverick Vinales, in 1’39”207, almost three tenths ahead of his compatriot Aliex Espargaro. The best of the Ducatis is that of Jorge Martin (+0.301), who precedes the Honda of Takaaki Nakagami (+0.376). Then again Ducati with Alex Marquez (+0.403), Johann Zarco and Luca Marini, before the Yamaha of Franco Morbidelli.

Only tenth time for world champion Francesco Bagnaia (+0.544), with the official Desmosedici, also preceded by Marco Bezzecchi. Fabio Quartararo was in difficulty, well beyond the tenth position with his Yamaha M1.
