Trentalange and the D’Onofrio case: appeal accepted and sanction canceled – Football

The Football Federation has announced that the Federal Court of Appeal has annulled the three-month inhibition sanction imposed in the first instance on Alfredo Trentalange last 17 March, with regard to the affair concerning the former national prosecutor Aia, Rosario D’Onofrio. The Court “presided over by Mario Luigi Torsello, accepted the appeal of the former president of the Italian Referees Association Alfredo Trentalange, annulling the first instance decision – informs a federal note -. Trentalange, referred last January 20 in relation to the matter concerning the former national prosecutor of The Hague Rosario D’Onofrio, last March 17 had been sanctioned by the National Federal Court with three months of inhibition”.
