Transparency Italia is officially a Social Promotion Association registered in the Third Sector Register

MILAN – Transparency International Italy is now enrolled in Single National Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS). After the verification of all the deeds and the required requisites, the transmigration procedure was completed last week, which registers Transparency International Italia in section “B – Associations for social promotion”. Following the decisions of the Shareholders’ Meeting which approved the new Statute, adapting it to the provisions addressed to the APS foreseen by the Code of the Third sector, Transparency International Italy is now to all intents and purposes an association that carries out activities of general interest in favor of its members and third parties on a non-profit basis, with civic and social utility purposes.
The fight against crime and corruption. Therefore, the six months period after which public administrations will also be able to sign agreements aimed at carrying out social activities or services of general interest with Transparency International Italy. The Association will be able to continue as APS to carry out its activities and its patronage action for integrity and the fight against crime and corruption. “Thanks to subscribing in the RUNTS new opportunities for collaboration with public bodies are opening up: Transparency International Italy moreover, it already offers the service for free Whistleblowing PA to as many as 1,800 users, including Municipalities, Universities, Companies and Public Bodies” – declared the President of Transparency International Italia, Iole Anna Savini.
