Tour de France, today the tenth stage Vulcania-Issoire: the route and where to see it on TV

VOLCANIA – The second week of Tours opens with a stage that is very complicated to interpret. After the rest day, it will restart from Vulcaniaa park dedicated to volcanism at the foot of the Puy de Dometo get to Issoire at the end of a stage with five gpm distributed along the 167.2 km. Escape, of course, but perhaps also a battle in the final between the men in the standings.

Immediately after the start there is the first gpm, the Col de la Moréno (4.8 km at 4.7%) which starts after just 2.2 km. After the descent, the ascent begins again towards the Col de Guéry (7.8km at 5%). After countless eats and drinks, the flying finish of Le Mont-Dore precedes the second-category climb of the Col de la Croix Saint-Robert (6km at 6.3%) at an altitude of 1451 metres. After the subsequent descent, the climb immediately returns to face the shorter Côte de Saint-Victor-la-Rivière (3 km at 5.9%). Finally the Côte de la Chapelle-Marcousse (6.5 km at 5.6%). After the brow, at the -28.6km finish, a technical descent on rather narrow roads will lead the riders until around 10km to go, when the final flat begins.
