We will pedal, al Tours 2023For 3405kmfrom Bilbao in Paris, from 1st to 23rd July, following the 8+4+8 scheme: 8 stages for sprinters, 4 moving ones, 8 mountain ones. There is very little time trial, only one in the third week, it lasts and is 22km. First i Pyrenees, then also all the other four French massifs (Massif Central, Jura, Alps and Vosges). A rather balanced distribution of difficulties and a first stage, the Bilbao-Bilbao, already quite tough, with 3300 meters of difference in altitude and the Pike climb, in the final, capable of creating havoc even among the men in the classification. Bonus points are back: on some climbs in the finals of five stages there will be time bonuses (8”, 5”, 2”). The bonuses at the finish line are classic: 10”, 6”, 4”. The highest mountain of the Tour, the Souvenir Henri Desgrange, will be the Col de la Loze (2304 meters in the Courchevel stage, number 19).
