Tour de France, Philipsen wins the third stage in the sprint.  Adam Yates remains in the yellow jersey

Jasper Philipsen won the third stage of the 110th edition of the Tour de France, the 185km Amorebieta Etxano-Bayonne, in a sprint. The Belgian rider from Alpecin-Deceuninck preceded his compatriot Phil Bauhaus (Bahrain Victorius) and the Australian Caleb Ewan (Lotto Dstny) at the end of a sprint in compact ranks. At the end of the day that saw the group say goodbye to the Basque Country and enter France, the British Adam Yates (UAE Team Emirates) retains the yellow jersey of leader of the general classification. Tomorrow the fourth stage will take place, the 182 km Dax-Nogaro with a track still suitable for fast wheels.
