Saturday 3 December at 18 at the Masini theater in Faenza the award ceremony dedicated to the former Ferrari driver who died in 1967

Called back to F1 at the last moment (due to Mazepin’s sacking due to the outbreak of war in Ukraine) Kevin Magnussen gave points, satisfactions and even a historic pole to Haas in the Brazilian GP. Behind the big names was the real surprise of the season and it made life difficult for Mick Schumacher, who will not race in F1 next year.

Tomorrow, Saturday 3 December, the Dane will receive the Lorenzo Bandini Trophy in Faenza (home, among other things, of the AlphaTauri team), an event that has reached its 29th edition this year and is dedicated to the former Ferrari driver who died in 1967: Magnussen will arrive in Piazza del Popolo in Faenza behind the wheel of a Dallara road car where he will be welcomed by the medieval drums and trumpets of Niballo’s Palio. An event that over the years has attracted dozens of champions to Romagna, attracting thousands of fans, a symbol of a land where the tradition of engines is very strong, as is the presence of the automobile and motorcycle industry.

At 15.45 the Haas pilot will be at the Masini foyer for the press conference and at 16.30 he will turn on the city’s Christmas lights, before meeting the kids from some local associations at the Satri cinema and receiving the prize at 18 at the Masini theater foyer. A prestigious and unique recognition (even in the form of the trophy) which in the past went to Hamilton, Leclerc, Bottas, Jacques Villeneuve, Michael Schumacher.

Other honors will be awarded: to the Haas team principal, the South Tyrolean Gunther Steiner. To the director of Rai Emilia-Romagna Stefano Tura (medal from the Municipality of Faenza); to Daniele Sparisci, journalist of the Corriere della Sera (medal of the Emilia Romagna Region); to Andrea Pontremoli, CEO and partner of Dallara Automobili (Francesco Baracca Trophy City of Lugo di Romagna); to Giuseppe Piacquadio, Human resource manager Haas F1 Team (Emilia Romagna Region medal); to Maurizio Bocchi, Performance development manager Haas F1 Team (Imola Municipality medal); to Andrea De Zordo, Chief designer Haas F1 Team (Emilia Romagna Region medal); to Matteo Piraccini, Head chassis engineering Haas F1 Team (medal Municipality of Brisighella); to Simone Resta, Technical director Haas F1 Team (medal Municipality of Faenza); Mauro Apicella, Head of Scuderia Ferrari Club (Emilia Romagna Region medal); Paolo Scudieri, to Adler Group (Emilia Romagna Region medal).
