The well-being of the planet also passes through photovoltaic systems

The combination of sun and technology is able to give life to a photovoltaic panel (PV). More commonly known as a solar panel, the PV inside contains photovoltaic cells capable of absorbing sunlight and converting solar energy into electricity. An undisputed advantage in the field of eco-sustainability, respect for the environment and energy saving, so much so that more and more individuals and companies choose to install a photovoltaic system.

Among the various companies able to offer a complete service for large-scale photovoltaic projects is the Spanish Soltec, one of the most respectful of the environment and able to control all the steps that lead to the installation of a photovoltaic system.

In Italy the presence of Soltec has had a significant impact since its foundation in 2008. With an installed capacity of 4 MWp between 2009 and 2011 and 3 GWp under development, the Spanish company represents one of the main players in the booming Italian photovoltaic market, where permits and construction of solar plants are constantly increasing. One explanation lies in the attention to innovation: eco-voltaics and agro-voltaics are the flagships, promoting sustainable and efficient solutions, to maximize the performance of solar systems in harmony with the environment.

The industrial division in Italy has an order backlog of €1 million and a pipeline of €1,113 million. During 2022, the division sold 340 MW to ACEA for “Early Stage” projects, while 51% was sold to ACEA, with Soltec Development owning 49%. Prior to this operation Soltec had extended an agreement with Aquila Capital for the transfer of 421 MW in Italy, of which 90 MW for energy storage. Previously, Soltec had already sold 772 MW to Aquila Capital. A pipeline of 2,972 MW is currently under development in different phases in Italy.

The creation of the photovoltaic system is followed vertically: Soltec covers the entire implementation process of a renewable project, from industrial material to asset management. The industrial division is flanked by the section dedicated to development and the department linked to the managerial asset. Development is constantly evolving, with over 14.4 GW under development in 8 countries, the development division is responsible for expanding projects from greenfield to RTB (prior to construction).

The Spanish one is a company where development and industrial supply coexist, without neglecting the highest standards of excellence. Also thanks to this constant commitment in the 2022 results, published last February, the company has exceeded indications and expectations in all required parameters. A demonstration of the right business model, linked to the growth expectations of the photovoltaic sector. Soltec can rightly define itself as “ecovoltaic”, a neologism coined by the same company in 2021.
