After last year’s success, the Grana Padano Consortium throw the second edition of the initiative “Youth of the Supply Chain”. It is a journey to discover the new generations of members, which have the task of projecting the millenary tradition of one of the most famous DOP cheeses in Italy and in the world into the future. On the digital channels, on the Consorzio di Tutela’s website and social networks (as well as on the Repubblica website), the reader will be able to discover the stories of young farmers, cheesemakers, experts and entrepreneurs in the Grana Padano supply chain.

They tell what prompted them to take this path, such as their dreams and their ambitions, but also the daily commitment and effort of an “ancient” job, whose origins date back toactivity of the monks of the Chiaravalle abbey (where the Consortium is based today) almost a thousand years ago.

The entire production chain of the most consumed protected designation of origin product in the world thus has 50,000 people involved.
