It inspired writers, pipe columnists and was glorified in the cinema. Those used by Montanelli, by Fallaci, by Brera have become real relics. On the other hand, it is unlikely that the PC of famous brands, with a much higher rate of obsolescence and much more rugged glamor, will one day aspire to monuments or venerable showcases.
