To confirm that Valerio Bianchini, one of the most enlightened and luminous coaches in Italian basketball, is turning 80, you have to trust Wikipedia. Because when you hear him speak he looks much, much younger. He has the wisdom of age, but the quick thinking of youth. He is still today the only coach to have won the Scudetto in three different cities: Cantù, Rome and Pesaro. He made the province great and the capital great, but he always preferred another ball to the wedged one.
