The World Tennis Federation (ITF) has decided to terminate its partnership with with immediate effect Cosmosthe company owned by the former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique who organized – changing format and arousing considerable perplexity from the fans – the last five editions of the davis cup.
The negotiations for the renewal of the collaboration contract were not successful and so the international federation decided to take over the organization of the tournament. The formula for the 2023 edition remains unchanged with the qualifying round in February, the group stage in September and F8 in November.
