A great Italy opens the Men’s Under 20 World Cup in Argentina with a 3-2 victory over Brazil. After the advantage signed by Prati, it was Casadei who led the Azzurri, author of a brace. Closing the first half with a 3-0 lead, the Azzurrini immediately felt the desire for a comeback from the green-and-gold, but, although with some suffering in the final, they managed to resist and close the first match of the qualifying round with a success.
In their other group D match, Nigeria defeated the Dominican Republic 2-1. After ending the first half behind, the African national team reversed the result in the second. Wednesday is the second day of the group stage, with Italy called to face the super Eagles and Brazil the Dominicans.
