On Sunday the goal of the ultras from Curva A of Napoli was an assault on Genoa against four fans: the sampdorians were waiting for them with the ultras from Ternana, Verona and Bari. The Neapolitans never arrived at the appointment due to the clash on the motorway with the Romanists

Bars, sticks, bottles, belts and stones. In the trunks of the minivans that left Naples there was everything. The Curva A ultras were ready for battle. And the field where they would face off against the enemies was not the Autostrada del Sole, but the stadium Marassi of Genoa. On the day of remembrance of Gianluca Vialli a mega assault was planned, an eighties-style brawl between the Neapolitans and a group of four fans who had gathered in Genoa for the occasion: the Sampdorians, the Bari, Terni and Veronese. Here is another background on which the Digos agents are at work who have in their hands the images of the curve of the Marassi stadium in Genoa, just before the start of the match between Sampdoria and Napoli.

The ultras of Curva A of Napoli never got to that match-clash because a few hours earlier, at the Badia al Pino motorway service station, they had ambushed a caravan of Roma fans who were headed for Milan. A guerrilla wanted by the Neapolitans who threw bottles and stones at the Romanists – HERE the reasons for the blood pact against the Romanists – who, this time they decided to stop, get out of their cars, walk a stretch of highway and clash with the Neapolitans. After the police incidents, he decided not to take any further risks, also because the news arriving from Genoa was not comforting. And so, with a checkpoint near Arezzo, he decided to send all the Napoli ultras back home. The cars thus returned and the ultras never arrived at the appointment with the Dorians.

But what would have happened in Genoa? The idea, according to the first information drawn up by the investigators, was that of an assault on the minivans of the Napoli ultras, who know the Marassi stadium area very well. Naples has been linked to Genoa for years for a twinning with the people of Genoa. They know every street around the stadium and were quick to respond. And in Marassi, as evidenced by the photos already in the hands of Digos, in the center of the curve, during the minute’s silence in memory of Gianluca Vialli, there were the banners of three other ultras groups historically enemies of those of Naples. The Dorians hosted the ultras of Ternana, those of Bari and the Hellas Army group of Verona. All united for the final assault on the Neapolitans. Who, however, never arrived at the appointment.
