Tennis, Musetti beats McDonald and flies to the semifinals at the Florence tournament

Lorenzo Musetti is in the semifinals of the tournament Atp 250 in Florence. The Tuscan player beat the American in the quarterfinals McDonald in two sets with a score of 6-3, 6-2. A place in the final will be played against the winner of the match between the Canadian Auger-Aliassime and the American Nakashima. In the second round the player from Carrara had the better of the Spaniard Zapata Miralles.

The blue dominated the game with McDonald thanks mainly to the effectiveness of his serve: 80% of first on the pitch with 73% of points won. Musetti, however, coldly puts an end to the opponent’s comeback attempt, closing at 6-3. The second set has little to tell, if not another great test of the Italian tennis player who closes the conversation with six sets for two.

Florence, Ymer and Wolf also advance

Before the match between Musetti and McDonald, two other quarter-finals were played: the Swede Ymer has imposed itself on the Spanish Carballes Baena (Berrettini’s executioner) with a score of 6-4, 6-2. The American Wolfon the other hand, he beat the Kazakh Bublik in three sets: 3-6, 7-5, 6-1.
