The blue swimmer Simone Sabbioni, world bronze in the relay at the 2014 Short Course World Championships, has negotiated a 20-month disqualification with the National Anti-Doping Prosecutor and with Wada for violating art. 2.4 of the CSA, or the conditions envisaged for athletes who must undergo out-of-competition checks, including the failure to present useful information on whereabouts. The stop will expire in exactly one year and will start on March 23, 2022. This was announced by the National Anti-Doping Prosecutor. All sporting results obtained by Sabbioni since 23 March are invalidated. 26 years old, specialized in the backstroke, Sabbioni is an athlete in the Army Sports Group.
