A few minutes from the start of what was expected to be regular training, the Milan coach Stefano Pioli surprised the boys of Vharese, one of the two realities that wear the Rossoneri shirt in the Paralympic and Experimental Football Division (Dcps) of the FIGC, entering the field of play to direct the special session. Between races, technical exercises and shots on goal, the opportunity to share an experience also made up of hugs, encouragements and souvenir photos to frame.
“Representing Milan on these occasions makes me even more proud – commented the Rossoneri coach -. I’ve seen guys who are enthusiastic but above all attentive and eager to do well, respecting instructions and roles. contexts, it happens to observe those around you precisely to strengthen certain beliefs: dreams cannot be cordoned off and with passion you can overcome any obstacle”.

APD Vharese Onlus is an amateur multi-sports association based in Varese that promotes sports as an opportunity to meet and socialize, but also to promote a different culture on disability. Its athletes compete regionally and nationally in not only soccer, but also basketball, skiing, swimming, bowling, rowing, and boxing. Together with Briantea84, for the past three seasons Vharese has represented the Rossoneri colors in the FIGC division born as the Fourth Category with the aim of helping to guarantee access to competitive sports for people with intellectual-relational disabilities and psychiatric pathologies. The activity is part of the broader RespAct Manifesto, through which the Rossoneri Club realizes its vision and commitment to sharing and disseminating the positive values ​​of social equity, equality and inclusiveness.
