Sorrentino meets ManfrediIn Naples, site inspections and casting for the new film dedicated to the Siren

The mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi has published a photo with the Oscar-winning director taken at Palazzo San Giacomo on his Facebook profile. The artist returned to his Naples once again to shoot a film. After the very personal was the hand of God, in fact, the artist prepares the feature film dedicated to the myth of the Parthenope Siren. Between one inspection and another, especially of the interiors – there are various Neapolitan houses that he examined – Sorrentino also wanted a discussion with the mayor on the cultural growth of the city and his image in the world. There was an exchange of availability between the two. The director said he was ready to support the development of the city in the specific sphere of his sector and the mayor reciprocated by offering full support to the Oscar-winning productions.
In the meantime, casting for the new film is underway and it seems that Giampiero De Concilio has already been chosen (One day suddenly And Gomorrah 5).

The myths of Naples
