Solidarity: National Gift Day, over 600 visits donated to women and minors thanks to the "TempoSospeso" project

MILAN – On the occasion of the National gift day Lab00the non-profit organization that created the solidarity project TempoSospeso.org, presents the results achieved less than a year after its birth. More than 600 services already provided or booked, including medical visits, psychological interviews, speech therapy or psychomotor sessions, or other diagnostic investigations, by the specialized centers that support the project. Born in November 2021 TempoSospeso.org aims to counter the effects of economic and social poverty, by giving a specialist medical examination to the most vulnerable citizens. Active in the start-up phase in Milan in collaboration with Welcomed and nationally with Banca delle Visite Onlus, the awareness and fundraising campaign guarantees maximum traceability and transparency of donations through the Regusto digital platform. The municipalities involved. Over 600 services have been provided or already booked with a prevalence of speech therapy and psychological visits (41.4% overall). 58.6% of the visits involved minors. The regions where the most visits were made are: Lombardy (46.7%) followed by Lazio (22.4%) and Puglia (15.7%). The municipalities in which the services were provided are 76: Milan (42.26%), Rome (8.2%), Bari (6.6%), Terni (3.4%). Medical services are provided at affordable rates, with short waiting times (about 3-5 days) and without a doctor’s referral. TempoSospeso.org coordinates and manages the fundraising and awareness raising campaign also using the Regusto digital platform which is based on blockchain technology, ensuring total transparency and traceability of donations and visits made.

Social and health poverty. It mainly affected single-income families, self-employed workers or with unstable and / or non-regular contracts. According to the Censis 2022 Report, in one year the Italians who gave up health services due to waiting times or costs went from 11 to 12.2 million.
