It is the Napoli-Milan of European tennis. Or even better, worldwide. And therefore it is almost irrelevant to know who between Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti will win today’s quarter-final in Montecarlo: we can rub our eyes looking at the years of lean tennis, Davide Sanguinetti’s fifth round at Wimbledon experienced as a miracle, and suddenly even the crisis in which Matteo Berrettini got himself, between women and repeated defeats and injuries, it appears to us as a distant trouble. At best negligible. We finally have something better to focus on.
