Serie B, Spal strikes Parma. Ascoli, Como and Sudtirol win away

Sudtirol beats Cittadella 2-0 and returns to the playoff zone, climbing to 26 points. External blow also for De Rossi’s Spal, which passes by a measure in Parma (1-0), while Como’s affirmation is clearer at Ternana’s home (0-3). Away victory also for Ascoli, who rule Cosenza 3-1, while Modena and Benevento finish equal.

PARMA-SPAL 0-1
At the end of a nervous match characterized by ten bookings, Spal conquered the Tardini 1-0, regaining the three points after seven days and condemning Parma to their third defeat in a row within the friendly walls. The Citadel collects the third defeat in a row. At the ‘Tombolato’ Sudtirol passes 2-0, with the South Tyroleans returning to take full loot after almost two months. In the first half of the match, the teams study each other trying to get closer to the opponent’s goal, but without dangerous opportunities. Everything changes in the 20th minute after Danzi’s expulsion who, already booked, intervenes in a disorderly way on the opponent. In the 29th minute the guests on the counterattack broke the deadlock with a Nicolussi fireball from the edge of the area. TERNANA-COMO 0-3
Como won their first away victory of the season at the ‘Liberati’: 3-0 against Ternana who were not very effective in the first half and were particularly unlucky in the second half. Lariani took the lead in the 13th minute with Cutrone who first overtook Sorensen in speed and then beat Iannarilli on the way out. In the second half Ternana hit a post, a crossbar and was denied the goal on at least a couple of occasions by Ghidotti. But in the half hour he collects the goal of two to zero from Ambrosino. Then, in the 48th minute, Mancuso’s trio arrives. For Andreazzoli second defeat in four races at the helm of the red-greens.

MODENA-BENEVENTO 1-1
