A goalless draw between Venice and Cagliari, while Como overwhelms Cosenza 5-1, increasingly bottom in the standings. Brescia-Bari 0-2

Brescia continues its free fall, Bari passes 2-0 to Rigamonti and is increasingly steadfast in the upper areas. The goal that paved the way for the Apulians came on 21′ of the first half: Cistana missed the offside and lost the aerial duel with Benedetti who headed into the net after Antenucci’s perfect cross. In the second half, Brescia’s goodwill was not assisted by adequate incisiveness. In the final protests from the hosts for a touch of hands in the Bari area but the referee, after consulting the Var, continues. And in the 94th minute Scheidler scores the 2-0.

Reggina-Modena 2-1

Reggina wins again after 4 knockouts in a row by beating Modena at the Granillo 2-1. Goals from Pierozzi and Strelec decide, while Tremolada scores for the Emilians. Good start to the game for the amaranths who immediately create two chances with Majer and Hernani and break the deadlock in the 26th minute: after an initiative in the area by Hernani, Pierozzi on the run kicks with his right foot and, also thanks to a deflection by the gialloblù defence, sends Network. In the 39th minute Modena restored the level with a goal by Tremolada who scored by kicking from outside the box at the near post. High pace even in the second half. In the 59th minute Menez kicks towards goal, Gagno blocks and Strelec scores to put Reggina back in front. In the 71st minute Strizzolo only in front of the goalkeeper shoots towards goal but Colombi saves. In the 83rd minute Strizzolo headed the crossbar again.

Sudtirol-Palermo 1-1

1-1 draw between Sudtirol and Palermo in a Druso with over 5,000 spectators and a large segment of rosanero. The stadium explodes in the 6th minute: Cissè crosses the ball into the top corner of the Palermo goal, with Pigliacelli immobile. Palermo skidded and a minute later risked a one-two on Odogwu’s incursion whose cross was neutralized by Pignacelli. Rosanero reaction in the 11th minute with a very violent shot by Di Mariano deflected for a corner. The hosts restart and in the 19th minute Pignacelli is called to make a powerful save on a blow from Odogwu. Palermo came back in the second half with three substitutions, including Soleri who scored the equalizer at the first opportunity with a header.

Venice-Cagliari 0-0

The challenge between Venice and Cagliari ends without goals. The first opportunity came from the Veneto with a long-range shot by Ellertsson which was punched away by Radunovic. Not even 20′ into the match, Vanoli had to give up Jajalo (knee problems after a tackle in midfield) and Milanese came in for him, making his debut in the orange and green jersey. At the end of the time Lella tries in the long run but Joronen is careful. Lella himself had to go out due to injury and Pohjanpalo had a headache when diving. In the second half, Cagliari made more play and came close to taking the lead with Prelec but the header went high. Three minutes from the end of the match the red light to Hristov who contrasts Luvumbo; the Var recalls the referee Zufferli and expels the Bulgarian for a last man foul. Rog’s subsequent free-kick from the edge ends in the stars. Venice would have the match point with Johnsen on the counterattack but only in front of Radunovic do they get hypnotized and waste. So it ends 0-0 and Cagliari avoids the joke.

Cittadella-Ternana 1-2, Andreazzoli resigns

The Citadel in comeback trims the second consecutive defeat to Ternana. Andreazzoli’s team took the lead in the half hour of the first half with Diakité’s first goal among the professionals. In the second half, however, Proietti’s reckless foul on Girando costs the midfielder a red light and forces the hosts to play in 10 for a good part of the second half. And so with the extra man and dragged by the brace of a Crociata in splendid form, the Cittadella first equalized and then in the final they found the victory with an extraordinary free-kick that sent the ball into the top corner. At the end of the race, the turnaround. “Andreazzoli has resigned”. This was communicated by the president Stefano Bandecchi, who also told an anecdote of the confrontation he had with the coach: “He advised me to call Lucarelli back. I will decide in the next few hours. Many tell me to take Lucarelli back but I am against it and I will think about it. However, Lucarelli is the coach closest to this bench and Andreazzoli’s analysis is not wrong.”

Como-Cosenza 5-1

Como spreads (5-1), Cosenza sinks. For Longo’s team a very important success for the standings, the first housewife in the second round. Viali’s team, on the other hand, remains inexorably at the bottom, despite a start to the match that seemed fairly balanced, with the guests able to equalize the initial disadvantage. The break in Como’s favor came around the break, thanks to the penalty scored by Cutrone – conceded due to hand ball by Vaisanen – and the goal scored in the first seconds of the second half, a ball corrected into the net by D’Orazio from a shot by Pierozzi. In the second half Cosenza tried to make up for it, also involving Gomis in some saves, but Como was overwhelming in the central phase of the second half with two goals in five minutes. A success that momentarily projects Longo’s team into a calmer classification area.
