ROME. A very frightening morning but no physical consequences for Ciro Immobile and his daughters: the center forward and captain of Lazio destroyed his Land Rover Defender in a road accident in Rome this morning.

The car of the Biancoceleste striker, in which his two daughters were also traveling, collided with tram number 19 as it crossed the Matteotti bridge, between Prati and Flaminio. The tram went off the rails, the car was destroyed.
The accident involved seven people in addition to Immobile, including tram passengers, who were taken to the Gemelli hospital for checks. The footballer, “a little sore in his arm”, speaking to the police, explained that the tram would have run on a red light.
Ciro Immobile and his daughters were however transported to the Gemelli Polyclinic by ambulance, where they are still undergoing checks.
