In South Tyrol, the instructors of the Alpine troops and other specialized units of the Army train the national rugby team in view of the World Cup (in France, 8 September-28 October).

In Corvara the army soldiers made their experience available theoretical and practical lessons involving the players in exercises in order to increase the amalgam and strengthen team spirit. The activity stems from
Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Army and the Italian Rugby Federation
which consolidated the relationship between the two organizations that share values ​​and ideals.

Italy was drawn in group A against hosts France, against New Zealand, Uruguay and Namibia. I will make my debut against the Africans on 9 September. This is the schedule of matches for the Azzurri:
