Racist chants, Lazio’s appeal rejected: the north curve remains closed

The FIGC Court of Appeal rejected the appeal Lazio regarding the closure of the north curve sector for the Serie A match against Empoli scheduled for Sunday 8 January at the Stadio Olimpico. The sector had been disqualified following the chants of racial discrimination started from the away sector and addressed to the players Umtiti and Banda during the Lecce-Lazio match on Wednesday 4 January, indicated by the referee report and by the reports of the collaborators of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office.
