Racist chants against Vlahovic, the Atalanta curve closed for one round

The Serie A sports judge has decided to disqualify Atalanta’s Curva Nord for one day after what happened in last Sunday’s match against Juventus, marked by racist chants against the Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serie A sports judge disqualified five players on the sidelines of the matches of the 34th day, all for one match. These are Agudelo (Spezia), Bronn (Salernitana), Maehle (Atalanta), Posch (Bologna) and Thiaw (Milan). As far as the clubs are concerned, Lecce was fined 4,000 euros “for having his supporters throw some flares into the playing field during the match”; 4,000 to Roma “for having his supporters throw some plastic bottles into the play area during the match”; 3,000 euros to Napoli “for having its supporters throw three smoke bombs into the playing field during the match”; of 2,000 euros to the Cremonese “for having his supporters throw two half-full bottles into the game during the second half”; 2,000 to Inter “for having their supporters throw two bottles of water into the playground during the match”; of 2,000 euros to Spezia “for having his supporters, during the second half, throw two half-full bottles into the playing field” and 1,500 euros to Monza “for having his supporters, 42nd minute into the second half, throw into the I play a smoke bomb”.
