“Queen Cleopatra”, the docuseries on the famous queen of Egypt

The four episodes of “Queen Cleopatra” will retrace the life, and above all the reign, of one of the most famous historical figures of ancient Egypt. Last sovereign of the Ptolemaic dynasty, Cleopatra has become synonymous with beauty and seduction, but reducing her to an enchantress lent to the throne would be a colossal historical falsehood. The docuseries, produced and narrated by Jada Pinkett Smith herself, is part of a larger project called “African Queens”, a cycle of miniseries that will explore and celebrate the legacy of the greatest queens of the African continent. The chapter dedicated to Cleopatra will be available to stream on Netflix from May 10th.
