Applications are underway to participate in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia regional call for the photovoltaic bonus. A fund of 100 million euros is available for 2023 for the disbursement of grants for the installation of systems on residential properties.

The goal is to maximize theself-consumption of energy produced from renewable sources for which funding is also allowed for simple balcony panels. The purchase of accumulation systems for new ones but also for old plants already in operation has also been facilitated. The The loan can be combined with the deduction for photovoltaics provided under the home bonus (50%), but not with the Superbonus. It can be requested for expenses incurred starting from November 1, 2022.

Buildings and interventions

The contribution can be requested by natural persons residing in the regional territory at the time of the application, who are owners of real and personal enjoyment rights formally recognized in a registered deed referring to theresidential real estate unit at the service of which the intervention is carried out, and that they are the holders or co-holders of the related expense invoices. The sums can be disbursed for the systems installed to service buildings of any cadastral category for residential use, from A/1 to A/9 and for those of category A/11 (typical houses), with no difference in relation to the use as before or second home.

However, the loan will not be granted in the case of interventions invoiced by a person who is a family member within the second degree of the person requesting it, or in the case of invoices issued by companies in respect of which the applicant has the role of shareholder or director, or by companies in which partners or directors have a family relationship or affinity, within the second degree, with the applicant. Furthermore the loan cannot be requested by those who have already obtained or are in the process of obtaining the Superbonus for the same property. Furthermore, the accumulation bonus is not available to those who already receive the incentives provided for by the first energy bill.

How much is the incentive worth?

As for the amounts, the contributions are non-refundable up to 40% of the total cost of the interventionwith reference to the expenditure ceilings envisaged by the regional tender.

In detail for a photovoltaic system up to 800 W (also including implants plug and playi.e. i balcony panels) is allowed a maximum cost of 1,720 eurosand an incentive up to a maximum of 688 euros.

For a photovoltaic system power exceeding 800 Wone is allowed maximum cost of 3,000 euros per kW (for a maximum total of 18,000 euros), and a incentive up to a maximum of 1,200 euros per installed kw, within the limit of 7,200 euros.

For a accumulation system one is allowed maximum cost of 1,130 euros per installed kWh (for a maximum total of 13,560 euros), with a incentive of 452 euros per kWh installed, up to a maximum of 5,424 euros.

For restricted properties, when the systems are subject to specific prescriptions by the competent Administrations or the Superintendency, for example with the obligation to install pigmented photovoltaic panels or photovoltaic roof tilesthe maximum expenditure limits allowed by the tender are increased by 20%.

Applications only online from February 22nd

The incentive application must be submitted exclusively through the “Online Applications” system on the Region’s website. The procedure will be accessible from the morning of Wednesday 22 February 2023, e until November 15thunless funds run out. For the granting of the incentive, a maximum term of 60 days is envisaged from the submission of the application.
