It is no coincidence that immediately after reading the corsair’s poem, the student Massimiliano Bello recited “Pasoliniana”, an excerpt from the collection “Patrie” (Il Saggiatore, 2021), which Vendola dedicated to the twentieth century writer, of which this he year marks the 100th anniversary of his birth.
