Padel and charity, great success of the event organized in Rome

An extraordinary participation of personalities from the world of entertainment and sport characterized “Unici Christmas Padel”, the padel tournament organized at the Circolo Due Ponti in Rome by the “Unici” Association of Stefano Buttafuoco, Rai journalist, historical correspondent of “La Live life” and next conductor of a new program that will be broadcast from January 13 on Rai Tre entitled “The Dreamcatcher”. Stefano Orlando, Anna Pettinelli, Manila Nazzaro, Angela Melillo, Jimmy Ghione, Emanuele Blandamura, Ubaldo Righetti, Leonardo Metalli, Demetra Hampton just a few of the VIPs present on the sidelines. An afternoon dedicated to social commitment and fun also followed by the television cameras of Raiuno.

Stefano Buttafuoco – accompanied by his wife Alessia Ioli – spoke about the research project that “Unici” has financed on a very rare genetic mutation (Camk2b) but also about other initiatives put in place by his association including the organization of rehabilitation courses dedicated to children with various disabilities and the opening of a football school for the disabled. During the day, illustrative videos were broadcast of the many activities carried out by this enterprising association amidst the excitement of the many friends and supporters.

These are the words of Stefano Buttafuoco: “The world of disability is a colorful world, made up of enormous difficulties but also of great joys and satisfactions. My life changed with my second son Brando but now I feel like a richer man even if wounded. Always support research and stay close to families who have to deal with problems of this kind. Doing good is good for those who receive it but also for those who do it”
