Napoli-Milan, fans sing under the Rossoneri’s hotel: you mustn’t sleep – Corriere.it

They had promised: we will go under the AC Milan hotel to disturb the players’ sleep. Like it used to be. So it was. Last night from about 11pm two hundred Napoli fans they presented themselves under the Vesuvio hotel, on the seafront, and sang chants against the Rossoneri players. Objective: to keep everyone awake. They succeeded, choirs and songs at least until midnight: it was the rain that sent (almost) everyone home. A dozen diehards stayed there until one o’clock.

“Don’t sleep tonight”, the most popular verse. Then chants against Giroud, Theo Hernandez, Maldini, Leao. No one was left out. At a certain point the very classic «you only have fog» started. Horn, applause, boos: an hour of folklore before the challenge that decides the story. Choirs in favor of Naples, above all for the idol Osimhen. From inside the hotel, the AC Milan staff let it be known that the noise was audible. The climate is electric in Naples. The weight of the challenge and the stakes is felt all right. 2,800 Milan supporters will arrive at Maradona on Tuesday.
