The 27-year-old Roman artistic swimming athlete, registered for Fiamme Oro and Aurelia Nuoto, was injured during training on Monday morning at the federal center of Pietralata, in Rome. In the next few days Minisini will undergo a meniscectomy surgery. The times for a complete recovery will not allow him to be ready for the artistic swimming world championships which will begin on July 14th. Therefore also the mixed duo will not be deployed. Giorgio Minisini is European champion in both individual and couple routines, as well as world champion in duo with Lucrezia Ruggiero.
