After a series of violations, however, the measure was aggravated with the decision of another judge to send him under house arrest in the home of an acquaintance.

Cecere, who retired in 2011, wore the Avellino shirt from 2002 to 2006, winning two promotions to Serie B in 2003 and 2005, in the historic playoff final won against Napoli. He also wore the shirts of Palermo, Fermana and Messina, clubs with which he has always won the C championship.
