Massimiliano Allegri also gives himself up to horse racing: his Estrosa in Capannelle arrives ahead of Frankie Dettori

The legendary Lanfranco “Frankie” Dettori attracted attention at the Capannelle Racecourse, and it couldn’t have been otherwise for a jockey capable of triumphing in over 500 races, even winning seven in one afternoon (it happened on 28 September 1996 at Ascot). Riding True Athlete, Dettori triumphed in the eagerly awaited Premio Parioli, conditioned by the rain: “I am delighted and at the same time excited. The Parioli was one of the few prizes missing from my rich palmares and I had to wait 35 years to win it, but now I finally succeeded in the very last year of my career. However, the mare ridden by Cristian Demuro found a fierce competitor in Whimsical, the mare owned by Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegridriven to second place by Alessio Satta.
