Former Manchester United striker, 21, was already in handcuffs in January on charges of rape, assault and death threats

Trouble never ends for Mason Greenwod, former Manchester United star, arrested on charges of assault, rape and murder threat. Last January, the Red Devils forward ended up in jail for being accused of being violent with his girlfriend, Harriet Robson. The girl had shared several images of her on her social media, which portrayed her with heavy bruises all over her body, lips and bloody face from the beating suffered by Greenwood. To anyone who wants to know what Mason Greenwood really does to me, the girl had written. Also publishing an audio recording, in which the player is heard threatening clearly the woman.

Today the ugly story is far from over: after the arrest in January (and the release on bail 48 hours later), last April in Greenwood the state of parole had been extended pending the completion of the trial. This morning, however, as reported by several British newspapers, Greenwood was reportedly arrested again. The reason? He allegedly contacted the alleged victim, thus blatantly violating the conditions for his release on bail. And in fact this morning the English footballer would have found several agents in his villa.

The police of the Greater Manchester aware of an accusation concerning a 21-year-old man who violated his conditions of bail and an arrest was made on Saturday 15 October 2022 – the Manchester police district that is dealing with the case announced -. Investigations are ongoing at this time. Investigations are underway as Greenwood continues to enjoy his £ 75,000-a-week salary from Manchester United as he waits to see if and when a criminal case will come in order to send him away or readmitted him to the squad.
