Lega Assembly: private negotiations for the Italian Cup, the situation in Serie A will be defined by the end of July

The Lega Serie A assembly was held via videoconference. Two offers have arrived for the rights to the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup (2024/2027 cycle), but the assembly unanimously resolved not to accept them, consequently providing for a subsequent phase of private negotiations, which will be activated with the two broadcasters in the next weeks.
As regards the TV rights of the Serie A championship, the clubs will meet again by the end of July to continue the assessments on the outcome of the private negotiations with the 3 interested parties. During the meeting, the clubs also approved the Lega Serie A budget for the 2023-2024 season.
