The image of the Japanese team’s dressing rooms immediately made the rounds on the web, like that of the fans who cleaned up the waste from the stands before leaving the stadium

Japan’s victory against historic Germany, so much so as to corrupt – even if only for a few moments – the traditional and hypnotic rhythmic order of the famous Shibuya crossing in Tokyo. A video that went viral on social media shows how to Asano’s winning goal 7 minutes from the 90th minute, even the Japanese got upset for a few seconds, indulging in a messy crossing that is striking for its unusualness. The party, however, did not last long. As well as in the changing rooms of the Khalifa International Stadium, the only pre-existing facility of the World Cup and made more modern for the occasion.

After the euphoria the Japanese team recomposed themselves and, before leaving the dressing room, cleaned it up and refurbished it, as in the Japanese style. The photo published on Twitter by the official FIFA account clearly shows the impeccable conditions in which the players left the stadium, with all the towels folded and stored in order at the foot of the central table on which some takeaway food packages remained and a couple of unopened packs of water, ready for someone else to use.

An image that goes hand in hand with that of the Japanese fans who, at the end of the match and before leaving the stands, armed themselves with plastic bags and collected any waste from the bleachers in a gesture of extreme civility that someone had already done on the occasion of the opening match of the World Cup between Qatar and Ecuador.
