The Finnish businessman Thomas Zilliacus is allegedly evaluating a purchase offer for Inter. This was reported by Reuters citing two sources close to the dossier. In recent months Zilliacus, a former top executive of Nokia who then founded his own group of telecommunications, had expressed his interest in buying Manchester United only to withdraw from the race for the British club.

The conquest of the Champions League final that Inter will play on 10 June in Istanbul against Manchester City has now turned the spotlights on the Milanese club which, off the pitch, makes use of the consultancy services of Goldman Sachs and Raine. The latter last year managed the sale of Chelsea.

According to Reuters, the two advisors will probably set a deadline for a final round of offers for Inter in the next four weeks. A circumstance however for now denied by the current ownership of the club, Suning Holdings Group.
