Following in the footsteps of «Top Gun: Maverick», the new Indiana Jones will arrive in Cannes. The rumor that had already been circulating for days was picked up today by «Variety». «Indiana Jones and Quadrant of Destiny» with Harrison Ford starring again will arrive on the Croisette 15 years after the debut, right in Cannes, of the previous episode of the franchise, «The Kingdom of the Crystal Temple». In the movie Ford plays for the last time as the archaeologist adventurer alongside an international cast that includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen. The director is James Mangold of «Logan» and «Ford vs. Ferraris”.

Few plot informationmainly based on the trailers in which we see a young Indiana Jones thanks to the special anti-aging effects used on the face of the now octogenarian Harrison. In Cannes the Disney film will arrive with a fed contingent from Hollywood: according to unofficial rumors, the festival has already secured «Killers of the Flower Moon» by Martin Scorsese with Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons and Brendan Fraser. It will be there first return of a Scorsese film on the Croisette since 1985 when «Fuori Orario» won him the best director award, while there is also talk of the new Wes Anderson«Asteroid City», with an ensemble cast that includes Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, Scarlett Johansson and Tilda Swinton.
