Hellish “The Idol”, the series that everyone loves to hate

It was meant to be the most shocking TV series ever, instead it was branded as the bottomless pit of bad taste. The story of a crazy and perverse project that embarrassed the Hollywood jet set

Welcome to TV show that everyone now loves to hate. This is a very signed series: directed by Sam Levinson, the venerable creator of "Euphoria", it is “The Idol”, launched at the last Cannes Film Festival between collective reprobation. In short. an unfortunate Titanic of seriality, mocked for the silliness of the characters, the ridiculousness of the story, the memorable dialogues only for the explosive boorishness. At this point, nothing better to intrigue us, while getting the sensation of having witnessed a completely different film – mind you, not a masterpiece, due to the absence of measure, for the hiccups, for the panting succession between the willingness to provoke and the awareness that all this will not be forgiven, tearing both the project and the reputation of its managers to shreds.
