It runs on the circuit of You love mein the United States, the fifth test of the Formula 1 World Championship. There Red Bullwho won the first four races (two with Verstappen and two with Perez) is once again the big favourite. Sergio Perezfresh from his success in Azerbaijan, will start from pole and will have the Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso. Max Verstappen, world championship leader, will have to try to comeback starting from ninth position. Ferrari is looking for confirmations after the third place of Leclerc in Baku. The Monegasque was the protagonist of an off-track exit in the final phase of qualifying which ended the race for pole early, also affecting Verstappen’s result. Leclerc will start seventh, Carlos Sainz’s other Red did better, third ahead of Magnussen’s Haas.

The Miami GP will be broadcast live exclusively by Sky on Sunday 7 May at 21.30. The grand prix will also be broadcast unencrypted, but deferred, on Tv8 at 11.30pm.
