Gp Bahrain, program and calendar: from free practice to the first race of the World Championship

Green light for the new season of Formula One. It starts on Sunday 5 March when the first round of the 2023 World Championship will be held in Bahrain: on the Sakhir Red Bull circuit, Ferrari and Mercedes will immediately start battling it out.
The weekend programme
It starts on Friday 3 March with the first free practice at 12:30 Italian time. The riders will then be back on track at 4.30 pm for the second and last free practice. Similar program on Saturday 4th with the third free practice at 12:30, prelude to the official qualifying which will start at 16:30. The first green lights of the eagerly awaited race will come on Sunday 5 March at 4pm. Verstappen, chasing a third consecutive world title, can only be the man to beat: however, the Dutchman has never won in his career in Bahrain. Last year Ferrari won by Leclercbut it was an illusion thinking about the mid-season “collapse”.

Where to see the Bahrain GPs on TV
Also this year all Formula One will be visible on Sky. Enthusiasts will be able to watch all the appointments of the Bahrain GP, from free practice to the race, on the dedicated channel Sky Formula One HD (number 207 of the decoder), as well as on Sky Sports One (201). The events are also available in streaming on the platforms SkyGo And NowTv. On the other hand, it will be possible TV8 will broadcast the events on a deferred basis: Saturday at 21:30 the official qualifications and Sunday, again at 21:30, the opening race. For the rest of the season, TV8 will broadcast live the two Italian races of Imola and Monza, as well as the GPs of Spain, Hungary and Mexico.
