The second week of Giro d’Italia 2023 it closes with a small Lombardy, the Seregno-Bergamo of 195 km with 3,600 meters in altitude and 4 gpm scheduled, one in the first and three in the second category. In the final kilometres, the hard climb on cobblestones will be faced Upper Bergamo.

The peloton will then pass the finish line in Bergamo for the first time, with 53.8 km still to go. Finally, the last climb of the day, Roncola Alta (10 km at 6.7%, with a peak of 17%), which will finish 30.6 km from the finish. After the descent, the peloton will travel 9 kilometers approaching the city, the only flat ones in the entire finale, before climbing towards Bergamo Alta. Then dive and arrive. Stage suitable for escapes from afar, but certainly the men of the standings won’t be able to stand by and watch.
