From Fibra to Marracash, to Scampia the big names of Italian pop-rap: sold out the live in piazza “Ciro Esposito”

To make everything even more special, it will be the background of a scenography arranged at 360 degrees along the perimeter of the square dedicated to the young Napoli fan killed in Rome in 2014. The choice of Scampia as the stage for a format entirely dedicated to rap music, both in the meaning of its language and in its aesthetics, not at all casual. The northern outskirts of the city, in fact, considered the cradle of the new rap movement not only Neapolitan but Italian. Just think of hits like “P Secondigliano”, a single by Geolier and Nicola Siciliano which boasts over 40 million views on YouTube, in which the lights and shadows of one of the most historically tormented neighborhoods are highlighted, through the eyes of very young people ready to socially redeem themselves also thanks to music. In the event organized by the Austrian giant, and included in the program of the municipal project “Naples, City of Music”, local rappers will be involved, promises of the emerging scene such as J Lord, Plug, Vettosi and Dipinto, who will go on the same stage at 17 which will feature the seven special guests. The evening will also be presented by Wad, famous speaker of Radio Deejay and Radio m2o. “It is an honor – he says – to kick off the show of the year. We are living one of the highest moments in the history of Italian rap and this event celebrates its greatness, its strong credibility. And it does so in one of the symbolic places of European architecture and sub-culture ”.
