The decision after the controversy over the assignment of the communication of the Italian participation in a Belgian company in which the son of the commissioner works. Ten days ago the controversy over the Rovelli case

Ricardo Franco Levi, extraordinary commissioner of the Government for Italy, guest of honor country at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2024, has placed the mandate in the hands of the Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano.

The news follows an article published on Friday 26 May in the newspaper Libero in which it is written that Levi has assigned the communication for this participation of Italy in the Buchmesse to a Belgian company, IFC Next, in which his son works. But the news also follows the Rovelli case: that is, the decision, later revoked by the commissioner, to cancel the invitation to the physicist to the inauguration ceremony at the Frankfurt Fair 2024. A decision that had caused bitter controversy and was followed by the chill of Sangiuliano, last Thursday 18 May at the inauguration of the Turin Book Fair, where both the minister and Levi were present.
