The Lifetime Achievement Award of the 63rd edition of the Globo d’Oro (film award assigned by the Association of the Foreign Press in Italy) will be conferred on July 5th to Francesco Nuti. The Florentine actor, director, composer and producer – who turns 68 today – will be represented by his daughter Ginevra. «We are very excited about this sixty-third edition – said the artistic directors Claudio Lavanga and Alina Trabattoni – not only because we are returning to one of the historic venues of the award, Villa Massimo, which for years has hosted the Golden Globe galas, but also because the committee chose to award the Globe for Lifetime Achievement to one of the most significant protagonists, who represented a turning point for the new Italian cinema, Francesco Nuti.
