At the center of the investigations coordinated by the Guardia di Finanza are the cases of the players Sprocati, Casasola, Marino, Cicerelli, Novella, Morrone and Akpa Akpro, object of sale between Lazio and Salernitana. The managers of the Campania company allegedly posted “fictitious capital gains through artificial evaluations of the players owned by the players sold with the relative issue of false invoices” which the managers of Lazio would have used in the annual tax returns to inflate costs by distorting the asset value of the company.
