In the bookstore in the last few weeks the beautiful covers of Anything that could break by David Valentini Breathless by Raffaella Mottana e Hunting and fishing manual for girls by Melissa Bank. They are the first three titles of Accent, the new editorial and entrepreneurial project by Alessandro Cattelan to “put the emphasis on new voices”. There was no more suitable name, adds the editorial director Matteo B. Bianchi, “because it is an element linked to writing”. The two have known each other for years (Bianchi was the author of “And then there’s Cattelan”): “When Alessandro called me to tell me he was thinking of starting a publishing house, I told him that we had to do it together”, confesses Bianchi, for years rookies scout with the magazine ‘tina as well as book prompter in the Cover podcast; “We are united by a passion for books, I was the fuse that blew up his idea”.
